Lakers guard Nick Young was announced as one of the participants in the 3 point contest during the NBA All Star weekend. He will become the 3rd player in Purple & Gold history to partake in the contest, joining Michael Cooper (1987) and Byron Scott (1987 and 1988). "Swaggy P" will face off against some of the best shooters in the league: Klay Thompson, Kyle Lowry, C.J. McCollum, Kyrie Irving, Kemba Walker, Eric Gordon and Wesley Matthews.
